Assessment for Problem Behavior or Learning Difficulties

If you have a dog with problem behavior or learning difficulties you need to have an assessment so that you can learn and understand the root cause of his behavior. Until you have this root cause you will never be able to solve problems or help the dog to learn.

My questionnaire will help me know your dog's history, experiences and interactions with his human family.

My stress test will reveal what causes the dog to be stressed and/or reactive and how he responds to this stress. Then I do a problem solving test and a learning test to help me understand his personality - how he lives and copes with you and with the world.

I conclude the assessment with basic management tools to help you keep the dog safe and out of trouble. And to lay the foundation for adjusting your relationship and beginning successful teaching.

If your dog is making aggressive reactions we will finish the assessment with safety management to prevent dangerous and/or unwanted problems.

Telephone / E-Mail Consultation
We include an e-mail and phone consultation package for the life of your dog, to get help with our techniques or for any questions that may arise over the years.

Client Assessment and Teaching Journal
Our teaching journal is designed to support and guide you.
Cost $535.00 plus GST

One Problem Teaching - 2 sessions $225 plus GST
Some clients need some insight and guidance in only one area of concern and will require only one session of 1½ hours. They will get a brief assessment in order to establish the right management and teaching for the problem and then we work with you to resolve the situation. 10 days later we will again meet for a follow up 45 minute session to fine tune your work. Written information for this problem is provided along with telephone and email follow- up for the next 30 days.

Workshops 1 hour - $125 plus GST or 3 for $345 plus GST
Either you wish to continue your learning by addressing another concern or problem or you have completed an entire teaching program and now wish to do advanced work. Written updates and support for this teaching will be provided.
